Arpita Kshama Devi & Arjuna Dharma Das

Arpita & Arjuna are a European couple who after decades of Yoga, Meditation and Tantra study and practice in India, South East Asia, Europe and all around the world founded Mahadevi Ashram as an expression of their Hearts' yearning to create a simple, home-like spiritual community space for deep practice & expansion in Awareness & Truth through the traditional Yogic & Vedic practices of ancient India.

They are passionate practitioners & facilitators who believe in:Arpita Kshama Devi & Arjuna Dharma Das

  • The exquisite potential of each moment
  • Finding one's god/goddess essence through fully embracing our human experience
  • Laughter and love being the best medicine
  • Not taking anything too seriously (especially oneself)
  • Devotion & Selfless Service being the pillars of Spiritual Life

After countless hours of Asana and Chanting practice and dozens of meditation and darkroom retreats spent in deep Self-Inquiry, Arjuna & Arpita share the Wisdom of their Hearts by weaving the Sacred and the Profane into a complete experience of the Present Moment, in Honor and by the Grace of their teachers:

Ramana MaharshiBhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi (1879 – 1950) was an Indian sage and Self-Realized being who thought the direct path of self-realization through Self-inquiry. His teachings are reflecting and deeply revered in the Advaita (Non-Duality) tradition of India and had great impact on the comeback of this Wisdom Path in the 20th century.

“Your own Self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world.”
~ Sri Ramana Maharshi

Amma Mata Amritanandamayi DeviAmma (Mata Amritanandamayi Devi) (1953- ) is revered as a contemporary Indian spiritual leader, saint and guru. She says her religion is love and through her numerous charitable programs is an example of practical spiritual wisdom which the world now needs so strongly. Her entire life has been dedicated to alleviating the pain of the poor, and those suffering physically and emotionally.

“Nowadays everybody wants to become a leader. No one wants to become a servant. In reality, the world is badly in need of servants, not leaders. A real servant is a real leader." ~ Ammaji
